The Scanner Bed

This is perhaps the easiest part of the scanner to understand. It's the comfortable surface that you lie upon during the seven minute scan and contemplate all of your hard work paying off.

The scanning bed is on a motorized frame that moves the bed from side to side as well as in and out. The bed moves in tandem with the scanning system allowing us to collect data from head to toe.

The scanner has a weight limit of 350 lbs (159 kg),  and a maximum lengtht of 6'5" (195 cm).
